Hi, I’m Darren and I go by the stage name of Dee-Jay. As of December 2022 I started in the wonderful world of DJing, however I have studying for many more years!!!!!
As a guy in his late 40s people say I’m too old for a new career but I see it as a career in which I can share my passion of EDM with audiences, as well as learning new tricks and techniques.
As a lover of EDM music and music in general, I find if it has a good beat and gets the crowd on the dancefloor, it will go in a set.
My short term goals are to try and get noticed in this industry by mixing the music I love and with many people around the globe, and once I start building on this and learning new techniques I aim to produce my own music. My long term goals are to have a regular slot on the radio and be a regular on the festival circuit.
My main influencers in the industry and my go-to DJs and producers are Tiesto, David Guetta, Pete Tong and Carl Cox.
