Calaida is a dynamic DJ known for creating a feel-good atmosphere, no matter the genre; whether it's sounds to get the party moving like House and Bass Music, or setting the vibe on the more laid-back side with Jazz and Soul.
Raised in Somerset and now based in London, she began DJing during her school days at birthday parties and studied music production through college and university. In 2017, she started focusing more seriously on her DJing career.
DJing and hosting events and club nights for over seven years, her versatility has taken her to bars, clubs, venues, and festivals across the UK and Europe.
Calaida has shared stages with and supported notable artists like DJ Maseo (De La Soul), Nubya Garcia, KOKOROKO, Tash LC, Killah Priest (Wu-Tang Clan), and Hilltop Hoods. She has also been featured on radio stations such as NTS Radio and Reprezent, and hosts a monthly show on The BoAt Pod.
Her sets are guided by her mantra: "if it feels right, it’s alright."
Open to travel across the UK and abroad.
