COJABOY, born Jacopo Menconi, is an Italian DJ and music producer whose artistic identity is rooted in a lifelong, high-level musical education and a unique early career on some of Italy's most prestigious stages.
Long before entering the electronic music world, Jacopo was known as a "piccolo tenore", performing classical and lyrical repertoire from a very young age.
His musical journey began in childhood with formal classical training, including lyrical singing and opera studies, shaping his deep understanding of melody, harmony and emotional expression.
During his early career, he performed at Teatro Ariston alongside Al Bano, appeared on RAI television singing in honor of Sophia Loren, and had the opportunity to study and sing with Andrea Bocelli.
He also met and shared musical experiences with legendary figures such as José Carreras and Plácido Domingo, milestones that marked his artistic development and solidified his presence on major stages from an early age.
This uncommon background sets COJABOY apart in today's electronic scene: he is not simply a DJ, but a musician raised on stage, with a refined sensitivity and control that translate naturally into his productions and DJ performances.

In his electronic work, COJABOY moves fluidly between tech house with pop and deep house influences and minimal / deep-tech productions with a more underground attitude. His sound evolves depending on creative inspiration, emotional state and performance context — from sunset beach atmospheres to darker, hypnotic club environments.
