MAHARANIE born and raised in South Jakarta, Indonesia is a professional DJ in the Indonesian music scene since 2007. Her musical path began very young by playing the piano at the age of four and guitar at the age of twelve. Ever since she started her career as a professional DJ, she started to play in so many big clubs all over Jakarta such as Embassy, Vertifo, Centro, and Kampus, just to name a few. She continued to play in big clubs all around Indonesia such as Amare in Bandung, Blowfish in Surabaya, Dejavu in Bali, Red Square in Balikpapan, 360 in Surabaya, Mansion in Makassar, Princess in Palembang and D'One in Pontianak. Of course, she didn't stop there, she started to increase her experience by playing at big events overseas. She played in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia at Boiler Room, Libido, Cristalo, and Luna Bar. She also lived and worked in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and played at Eights Club Souk Qayat Al Berry, BAKE event at Corniche Beach, Abu Dhabi Golf Party, World IDEX Private Party, Etihad & Australia Airways private party, Ocean Royal Meridien, and Formula One After Party. She was the resident DJ at the Pearls & Caviar Shangri-La Abu Dhabi from 2010 to 2012. She established her DJing career as one of the most progressed female DJ's in Indonesia.
MAHARANIE in her early age started her career as a professional DJ. Always being creative and open minded about the music she plays makes her different from other DJ’s. MAHARANIE which was influenced by many International DJ’s around the world such as Dennis Ferrer, Tuna Brothers, David Guetta, Erick Morillo, Laidback Luke, Dario Nunez, Armand Van Helden, Hed Kandi, etc…
Coming from a family with strong musical background, MAHARANIE enhanced her professional DJ career by entering well known competitions. In 2009, she managed to become a semi-finalist female DJ in "Heineken Thirst" and also a finalist in "JUICE DJ Quest". With these achievements, she has been recognized by the dance scene in Indonesia. She has capability to explore anything from any genre such as House, Tech-House, and Tribal to Progressive House which shows she can play any genre to please any crowd she performs for. Energetic and powerful is how most people would describe MAHARANIE performances. She will definitely give the crowd an unforgettable time.
